Bryce sent in this stunning Woodpecker Cycle Co x BogeWorks 29er touring bike and while we pick our jaws up off the ground, why don’t you check out more beautiful photos below!
I wanted to share a build we just completed and hoped y’all at the Radavist would dig it too. It’s been a year-long build, navigating parts and material shortages that the pandemic created, we are finally done. This bike build was a collaborative effort with a local frame fabricator and BogeWorks.
BogeWorks is a small custom bike bag maker based out of Seattle and Woodpecker Cycle Co. is located in Lacey Washington.
The frame, handlebar and aluminum cradle were spec’d by BogeWorks, fabricated by Woodpecker. The bike was designed to be an all around shred machine but still have the ability to pack up for some long distance bikepacking adventures – aka a shredpacker.
After completing the build, Daren from Woodpecker and I (Bryce) made the maiden voyage on a local bikepacking trip. Up Baby Shoe pass and onto Council Bluff. The pictures are with Mt. Adams in the backdrop.
Here’s some specs about the build.
Complete ultra light bag set made using Ultra 200, Dyneema DCF and ECOpak 200 fabric. All the bags are taped and sealed. The framepack was built with oversized waterproof zippers for durability and to maximize its’ weatherproofing.
