Wolf Tooth’s New 8-Bit Pack Pliers

Wolf Tooth’s Pack Pliers are a very clever way to keep a chain maintenance kit handy while out on a ride and their new 8-Bit Pack Pliers just upped the ante with a whole new level of functionality. The 8-Bit Pack Pliers are capable of 17 functions via eight attachments that are nested neatly inside the handle of master link pliers. The whole system stays nested thanks to a series of magnets and each of these attachments fit inside an 8mm detent swivel head with a 4mm opening for the various hex bits. Specs:

-Magnets keep all bits in place
-Ball detent swivel head helps access hard-to-reach places
-Handle doubles as breaker bar for extra torque when head is bent

Wolf Tooth Wants You To Be Able to Adjust Your MTB’s Geometry

Wolf Tooth is always tinkering with products to make your bike more customizable to fit your needs. Their newest product is these lower headset cup extenders, allowing you to adjust the effective geo of your bike by increasing thee axle-to-crown length by 10mm. When dropping one of these in the lower head tube cup, it will allow you to do things like use a rigid fork on a suspension-corrected frame or use a fork that might have a lower ATC than the bike was designed for. Or drop one on your current bike and lower your head angle and raise your bottom bracket.

These are made in the USA, available in black, blue, or red, and in-stock now at Wolf Tooth.

News dropped this morning that Wolf Tooth has acquired RedMonkey Sports’ grip line and have added their grip models to their own catalog. This is great news for Wolf Tooth dealers, shops, and consumers alike with five models available to fit just about every rider’s needs.

Wolf Tooth Components: Thru Axles and Trainer Caps

With thru axles an industry standard and most thread pitches have been established, Wolf Tooth felt it was time to throw their hat into the ring of axles but they added their own design twist.

“Knowing the pain of damaging their prized frames, they added end caps that would take the brunt of rock scrapes and crashes. And because to look good is to feel good, they decided to offer Axle Caps in eight anodized colors. Caps thread into a dedicated recess in the axle head and are easily replaceable or swappable with an 8mm hex key.

Because cold weather and short days are never far from a Minnesotan’s mind, they also created Trainer Caps to reduce barriers to winter workouts. Non-drive side Axle Caps are joined by drive-side plugs that can be installed or removed with ease to make the prospect of hopping on the trainer a little more bearable.”

Wolf Tooth’s B-RAD Pump and Other Stuff Bag

Wolf Tooth’s B-RAD Pump and Other Stuff Bag

Wolf Tooth has grown their B-RAD lineup to include these Pump Bags, ready to carry whatever you can cram into them. Perhaps even a Sin Dawg from the looks of it? I’ve been using a similar, yet a lot smaller bag for some time now, carrying the Silca pocket pump, or a Dynaplug with a Co2. If you’ve got bottle bosses to spare, these nifty bags can put them to use. My personal favorite is the underside of the downtube, particularly on a touring bike or hardtail, for when you don’t need three full bottles. See more at Wolf Tooth!
