This has got to be the sickest modern production track bike I’ve ever seen. A mix of fillet brazed Columbus MAX and Zona really hammers home the meaning behind “ono”, or a tool for cutting through your obstacles in Japanese. See more photos of the Tokyo Fixed Ono here and pick one up here. This will probably be your only chance to own a Death Spray Custom designed paint job!

Tokyo Fixed: Road Rocket Builds
I’m so glad there are more and more production steel road bikes available now. One of which is the Tokyo Fixed Road Rocket. Steel road bikes are great for a number of reasons and I can bark about it all day but you’ve just gotta ride one to understand.
Swing through Tokyo Fixed if you’re in London and check these bikes out. If you’re not in London, you could always just look at some recent customer builds on their Flickr. Did I mention this beast has some Columbus MAX in it?

Tokyo Fixed Gear Now Carries Enigma Frames
When I think of UK framebuilders, I think of Reynolds tubing, Nervex lugs, bent-rake forks, path racer geometry and a classic paint job. While Enigma definitely nods to all of these, their performance-based cycles are a lot more modern than their predecessors. Made in the UK, from stainless, Ti and good old steel, Enigma is one of the few UK manufacturers who chose domestic over a dockside delivery. Tokyo Fixed Gear is their newest UK dealer, so swing on over to test ride or purchase one of their track, road or commuter frames.

Tokyo Fixed Bikes: 2012 Road Rocket
Tokyo Fixed Gear‘s frame lineup for 2012 is rounded off with their new road model, the Road Rocket. If you’re in London, swing through the shop to test ride one, beginning today.
“With the Road Rocket we went ahead and indulged by designing our dream road frame. We have used our favorite tubing (Columbus MAX chain stays and down tube, Spirit seat tube and head tube and a skinny Keirin top tube & seat stays) to deliver performance in all the right places. The frame weighs 1.7kg / 2.06kg inc the Columbus Minimal full carbon fork. The Road Rocket is a credible contendor against titanium and carbon frames with all the comfort and durability steel brings. Estimated retail price will be £775 frame only / £900 frame and fork. Our first shipment is in the water now and will be with us very soon.

Tokyo Fixed Gear: The First Dart Build
The new line of Tokyo Fixed Bikes frames are looking damn nice. Aside from that Death Spray Low Pro, the Dart is my favorite of the lineup, especially all murdered out like Jamie’s build. See more of this rad machine at Tokyo Fixed Gear.

Tokyo Fixed x Death Spray Custom ONO Low Pro
This looks so sick. I love Death Spray Custom and this new Tokyo Fixed ONO Low Pro is a perfect example of why. Damn. From Tokyo Fixed Gear:
“This prototype was hand painted by Death Spray Custom. The ONO will be with us in late May and should be priced around £775 including a carbon fork. The frame is fillet brazed and is made using Columbus Zona with a Columbus MAX downtube & CNC CR-MO dropouts. Pretty sweet.
The ONO features the 5 dot mon on the head tube, keeping the graphics simple and allowing us to use painting & masking only.”

Tokyo Fixed Gear’s 2012 Frame Lineup

Tokyo Fixed Gear: New Workshop
You can’t work on bikes in a messy shop. My goal in the next few weeks is to build a legit workshop. It just makes life easier, as the Tokyo Fixed Gear team has found out. They’ve got a new shop and that means, new pricing and specials. Head to their site to see how they could become your LBS if they aren’t already (in London).
