After all the manure, cattle grates, and potential stampeding you on your ride, cows are good for at least one thing: making ribbon-like singletrack along the sides of country roads. Fun to ride on any bike. Apologies for this one being late!

Our trip from Vegas to Austin in my pickup truck was a blur, except for moments like this. Oh and Sedona. Sedona was rad. Anyway… The thing that sucks about traveling by car is that you never want to stop when you see a great road. After 13 hours of driving that day, we definitely stopped for this one…

The Pacific Coast is a cycling Utopia. Minus the RVs and tourists who are unable to operate their rental cars. Still, in one of the heaviest traveled scenic highways in the US, solitude can be found, even amongst looming giants like the Redwoods.

In Texas, we can ride two times during the day: early morning and late, late afternoon. The sun just cooks us the rest of the day, so each night, we take to the hills and watch the sun set on Central Texas.

I know summer is exploding in the Northern Hemisphere right now, but Down Unda’, in ‘Straya, it’s the middle of winter. We just finished a big ride and I thought I’d celebrate July’s calendar with some proper #lightbro!

Look, professional cycling is serious business, even for Cannondale’s Ted King. So serious that he’ll turn down your coke or PBR for the “other red can”. That’s right, the only way to Ted King’s heart is through a Tecate. At the 2014 Amgen Tour of California, Stage 08 was a party and one that I won’t forget.

You know the drill. Lean in hard and let her rip. No matter what kind of shred sled you’re navigating, a nice and dusty corner is best cooked well done. This photo was quite popular and enough people asked for it at high res that I felt like it’d be perfect for the 2014 May calendar!

No one ever said bike racing was easy, especially the Rouge Roubaix. That event caused carnage across all fields and in doing so, brought out primitive survival instincts. The kind that tell you to keep pushing forwards because there’s an ice cold beverage waiting for you at the finish line.
