Just over one week ago Josh was in London for the 2022 edition of Bespoked Handmade Bicycle Show. Under new ownership and management, the show moved from its former location in Bristol, England to the Lee Valley Velo Park in Stratford of East London. With three days of track racing, talks, food, hangs, coffee, enviable new products, and—of course—hundreds of eclectic and beautiful bicycles on display, the show was a major success for the new organizers, exhibitors, and attendees.

Stayer Cycles New Groadinger UG Gravel Bike
Made in their Leytonstone, East London workshop, in small batches, the new Groadinger UG frame from Stayer Cycles offers up a modern gravel geometry, frame details for ultra-versatile builds, and a beautiful finish, with a wishbone seat stay. Stayer offers these new frames in two build kits as well with the ultra-sporty HOPE superfast Grav Grav build (pictured above) or the Danglemug realness double camo build (pictured below) with an olive drab paint and a double crankset.
Pricing for a frameset with either a Ritchey or Whisky fork begins at £1,650.00, with a pre-order opened now. The next batch of UGs will be ready to paint the last week of August 2020. The Stayer pre-order will close on August 1st.

Stayer Cycles: Raoul’s 29’er Dirt Drop MTB
Stayer Cycles, a framebuilder from East London makes bikes of the off-road variety from production models like their Groadinger and Chigzag to full-on custom project like this. This is Raoul’s second bike from Stayer. This bike was built around two items: Bontrager 3.0” Chubacarbra tires and a front rack duffle bag from Dan at Envelope Bagworks.
