Taylor Stitch for Mission Workshop: Dearborn Overshirt

All of my long sleeve dress shirts are Taylor Stitch and we all know that Mission Workshop makes superior bags. So when these two get together, you know it’ll be good. Here’s the low down on the Dearborn Overshirt:

“The Dearborn Overshirt was the result of a summer project between Mission Workshop and Taylor Stitch. Taylor Stitch is an independent shirt maker, creating new styles of small batch shirts. The Dearborn shirt is the first effort of combining the best aspects of both companies.

Taylor Stitch constructed the garment in San Francisco using traditional and time-proven techniques building a shirt that will hold up under daily abuse with a fit made to cover base layers without being overly bulky.

From Mission Workshop, the Dearborn inherited technical aspects such as 3X Dry® which repels water and stains and aides in wicking off moisture from the skin. It is built from Scoeller’s Turkish cotton with added stretch. The S-spring snaps and underarm eyelets are imported from Germany. And as small detail, the chest pocket is ported for your media.”

Pick one up here. So stoked on this!

Freight Baggage has been working on a new website since I can remember. The brand itself needs no introduction but some of their products might, like the Bike Bag, which has been around for a while, but never officially available online for purchase. These bags have been tested by people all over the world and have proven their durability. Check out more at Freight’s online shop.

Garrett Chow’s Custom Specialized Carbon Crux CX by Mike Martin

Mike Martin is a very busy guy. When he’s not at the Mash SF storefront, he’s planning an event, working on his clothing line Martin or out shooting video. That doesn’t leave a lot of time for his other passion: photography. It’s not everyday that you see photos from Mike, so when he showcases inspirational photos like these, I had to reach out to him.

Garrett Chow’s work that comes out of his studio in the Specialized facilities is always far from ordinary and his new Custom Specialized Carbon Crux CX is a perfect example of his craftsmanship. Many thanks to Mike for the high res photos. Check them out below!

Chas has been talking about doing this for some time now and honestly, I’d rather watch this than a track bike hill bomb. So good!

Mission Workshop Presents Alex Ramos

Having just picked up a Hasselblad, I’m way stoked on this new video from Mission Workshop:

“For an afternoon, the San Francisco Bay Railroad opened it’s doors to Oakland based photographer Alex Ramos and Mission Workshop to capture the day to day operations of this local industrial railroad on film and video.

The photographs taken will be on exhibit in the San Francisco warehouse of Mission Workshop from August 17th until September 21st, 2012. Go to missionworkshop.com/event for information on the show and opening.
