Chris Corona’s MASH SF Rockbanger Hardtail MTB
Following the review of his MASH SF Steel All-Road from earlier this year, Chris Corona is back with yet another MASH bike review. This time, he’s built himself a steel “Rockbanger” 27.5 hardtail mountain bike and documents it in his stunning photographic style. Let’s check it out in detail below!

Chris Corona Reviews His MASH Steel All-Road
Classic road geometry has always had a nice visual appeal to me. The straight lines and minimalistic look are sleek and pure. When MASH launched their steel All Road frameset, I just had to try one.

Bryan’s Doom Mash Track
Since we posted Two Wheel Drive yesterday, we thought it’d be nice to feature one of the shop employee’s personal bikes. Bryan is a mechanic and his Mash track bike is too slick, laced with Albuquerque’s own DOOM bars and some other nice details. Check out our friend Nick’s photos below with words by Bryan himself…

Kenji’s MASH Santa Cruz Stigmata is Rare Indeed
Three years ago, at the start of the 2016 ‘cross season, Santa Cruz and MASH SF teamed up to create what is, in my opinion, the most recognizable Stigmata frameset of all time. There have been other team builds, other rad bikes, but this is the one everyone remembers. And yet, there were only 12 of these frames available to the public and less than 20 including the team frames!

MASH Teases a Phil Wood Collab
Over the years, SF-based MASH has teamed up with Phil Wood on numerous collaborations, yet their latest project looks to be the best yet. Teaming up with Caustic Customs Anodizing on Phil Wood track hubs and seat collars, these limited edition beauties will only available as a package from MASH in the form of a complete wheelset. Don’t fret, because if you’re not feeling the presented options here, this is only a sampling of the full collection, which you’ll have to head to MASH’s Instagram to see in full glory.

Jandd for Mash: Bicycle Travel Bag
When I used to live in New York, a common bicycle travel hack I’d use were these portfolio cases from Chinatown. They were awesome for flying with a road, track or ‘cross bike but required you to take almost your entire bike apart. Small bike travel bags are great. You can sometimes sneak them on board for less than the bicycle check fee and you don’t have to lug around a big case or box through airports. Using what they’ve learned over the past few years of traveling with bikes around the globe, Mash contact San Diego’s Jandd to build a bicycle travel bag based on their design input. These bags will fit a road, track or ‘cross bike. Perhaps even an S&S tourer, but I’ve yet to confirm that. They’re in stock now at Mash, so if your interest is piqued, like mine is, head over there to check them out.

Mash SF: SSCXWC Photos and Reportage
Photos by Mike Martin
Mike from Mash has a way of documenting an event that is truly unique. His commentary is insightful and his photos really place you there. This is particularly true in the latest photo gallery at Mash SF of the SSCXWC in Portland last weekend. If you couldn’t make it, be sure to check out the best photos I’ve seen from the event over at the Mash Blog.

Cinelli Mash After-Work Basket Bike
Is it still a work bike, if you don’t spend your work days riding it around delivering packages? What about riding to the bar? Or errands? Or even hitting some singletrack after work and finishing off a beer. Even a 32oz. The latest Golden Saddle Rides is a Mash Cinelli Work frame that has been powder coated clear red and built with around-town functionality in mind. Here in Los Angeles, even around town means you can ride some dirt on the way. Wide Answer bars, and Continental TravelContact tires should have given that away. While these framesets come with cantilever bosses, this build is set up brakeless with a fixed drivetrain. The front bosses were utlized however, to mount a Nitto rack, which holds a Wald basket and one of those nifty Monkey Wrench Cycles bags.
The Arundel Looney Bins are great and make for interesting prop placement in this photoshoot…
