I’ve been keeping tabs on what Jason Sellers has been working on with FWD Bound and was very stoked to see this photo of Matt Spencer, clicked up in the Long Beach issue. See the whole magazine below. Be sure to expand to full screen on this one. His photos of everyone are so sick.
I’ve said it since the beginning: Joe McKeag rips. I met him two years ago and he was already killing it. Now, in his newest video, he shreds the streets, parks and ditches of Long Beach. So good!
When I woke up this morning and checked my emails, I was surprised at how many FGFS popped up over night. Check out a grip of great riding below too!
I’ve always liked JBall’s riding and here’s a great example why. This one’s good. Packed with some creative street riding. Obviously, I love the bigspin and the wall to bar. Nice.

The long-awaited Empire video is finally complete. Just in time for a premiere in Long Beach on June 16th. Be there!

Both completely different but they kept me watching. Ramon Antonio puts in work in the LBC (land that footplant bar dude!) and Shinya throws down some speedy flatland action in Meriken Park.
Long Beach, Cinco de Mayo, you know what’s good. I love how Joe is wearing a 700c shirt.

Tyler Johnson had some of the cleanest lines at the 2012 #RideNStyle and it’s because he practices and rides as much as he can. Back when he was in LBC, hanging at the #FF, Tyler hit this tire slide on an old fridge. To see video of this, watch his edit again.
I’m way into this project. Zane’s been busting his ass filming and editing clips that he’s shot all over the world. Can’t wait to see the final cut!

Matt just posted up this photo of Congo throwing down at the Long Beach skatepark over at Wolf Drawn. I love how much table tops have improved in FGFS over the years. I guess, wheels get smaller = bike is easier to throw around. Nice shot Matt!
Matt‘s saying bye to Volume to pursue other opportunities and as a thank you, he put up a rather slick edit. Spine tire slide, ledge roll, t-bog, one-handed table and whip skid drop looked balleur. Along with just general, fast riding. I think FGFS needs to not have rules and just be fast and fun. This shit looks good. If and when Matt Spencer goes to 26″, It’ll be just as fun to watch though. Style is style, regardless of wheel size.
I gotta be honest, I don’t remember taking a lot of these photos for one reason or another. The main being I was fairly drunk most the time the Long Beach guys were in town. Then I opened up these two Recent Rolls: one color and one B&W. Some are from Austin and some are from San Marcos. I don’t even remember which cameras I shot these with but it was a sobering experience to see the shots of Pissy’s post-wreck condition. But let’s not focus on that too much because let’s face it, their trip was epic.
