At The Radavist, we look to the natural world and our unique Rocky Mountain locale for inspiration. The riding around Santa Fe occupies a semi-arid steppe, and native shade trees are scarce in these foothills. As such, dense juniper forests are often the backdrop to our rides, and we’re grateful for the shade these hearty, low-lying trees cast to counter the sun’s high UV radiation in these parts (an unfortunate byproduct of life at 7000′).
It’s during the fading hours of the day that these groves become truly radiant as the dappled light of sunset filters through their scrubby branches, onto the trail, and ourselves. On a ride, last winter, our product designer Cari Carmen snapped a photo of this dappled light hitting my shirt and commented that it would make a cool pattern for a cycling jersey. And so began our journey on The Radavist Juniper Dapple Jerseys with Ocean & San, a Los Angeles-based cycling apparel company. A year in the making, these limited-release jerseys are now in stock at our webshop, but let’s look at them in detail below.

We’re back with another Radar Roundup where we take some of the news items to come across our inboxes into an easy-to-digest dump of sorts, culling down the clutter from our homepage and making it easier to stay on top of what’s going on in our little corner of the cycling industry. This will come particularly in handy when it comes to spring/summer product drops from our favorite brands.
Check out our Radar Roundup below with products, videos, and a Radavision entry…
There aren’t many MTB jerseys that pique our interests but anytime Smooth Jazz Lines puts one out, the vibes really resonate over here. This morning SJL just released its Spectral High Jersey in both short ($75) and long sleeves ($85) for men and women. This jersey has a message, of which you can see at Smooth Jazz Lines.
These two brands need no introduction, at least I hope not anyway! State Bicycle Co and Ozzy Osbourne, yes, that Ozzy, have teamed up on a capsule collection with jerseys, fleece-lined jackets, a bar bag, and stem cap. It’s a smaller collection compared to what State has done with musical artists over the years but that doesn’t mean it’s any less bad ass.

Search and State continues to roll out its warm weather gear with these long sleeve merino jerseys. Available in four colors, magenta, green, navy, and black, knit with a synthetic and merino blend for increased durability, and you better believe, they’re selling out fast. Check out all the information and stock at Search and State.
Tomorrow, 9/16 at 11 am EST, Search and State will be stocking this limited edition High Viz M90 Camo S2-R jersey. This jersey pattern is based on M90 camo, with hits of fluro orange, on a pattern Search and State is known for. These jerseys are made in New York City and retail for $195. See more at Search and State.
Our friends at State Bicycle Co have worked with the National Park Foundation on a capsule collection of bikes, jerseys, and accessories. Included in this collaborative effort is the Joshua Tree All Road and matching Handlebar bag, the Redwoods Jersey, and more. Check it all out at State Bicycle Co!
Our friends at Mission Workshop have re-launched their in-house line of cycling apparel, Acre, with a new lyrca kit collection using innovative materials like Dyneema and Quattro to up the ante in kit design. This launch is in stock now, for men and women, in a variety of colors with minimal branding.

It’s hard to beat merino when it comes to a material suitable for riding in various environmental conditions. Cascada knows this and that’s why their newest jersey is more like a lightweight merino t-shirt. These new jerseys are 50% merino and 50% polyester, this ensures your jersey will last longer and be resilient to moths. For €80,00, you can pick between either sage or rust for a jersey that is made in Italy. See more at Cascada.
New York City-based Search and State prides itself in its limited edition prints. This summer, they’re releasing three special edition prints in their beloved S2-R jersey models. The Matrix is a geometric camo pattern, the Galatic is a tie-dye-inspired printed dye design, and the Plasma is a red camo. All are in stock today at 11 AM EST. Head to Search and State to see more.
