It’s been a while since I’ve posted about Pelizzoli, but videos are a perfect segue into a builder’s world!

Easton Cycling Presents Hunter Cycles
One day, I’d love to check out Rick Hunter’s shop and ride his pump track. As part of their Dream Bike series, Easton interviewed Rick about his work and that killer road bike he built for the charity.

George Marshall Interviews “Super” Ted James
Founder of the Albion, bad ass rider, photographer and generally all around good dude, George Marshall just interviewed “Super” Ted James over at Redbull’s UK site. Ted has started making BMX frames from Reynolds 853 and seems to be living the dream.

Alfred for the Winged Store
Alfred was one of the first bike messengers I saw in action in NYC that made me realize some people were born to ride a track bike. He’s fast and flows two steps ahead of traffic in any situation. Put him in the mix to race Monster Track and he’ll surprise you.
Check out Alfred’s cap at the Winged Store!

Marc Marino Interview
One of my favorite bike dudes to hang with (and photograph) was recently interviewed over at Optimus Fixed.
“OF: I remember you as a relaxed and interested person with a modest atitude. So do you have any special philosophy in live?
My philosophy in life at its most simple is to do what makes you happy. Take whatever opportunity you have to travel, and further yourself as a human. I’m lucky enough to be able to go all over the world, with people that I love, and get together on a level that pushes us all to our physical limits.”

Interviewed: Christopher and Graeme Raeburn on their 2013 Rapha Collection
With the success of the Rapha Raeburn line earlier this year, my friends at the Rapha North America office reached out to me for a different kind of press. I was very impressed with what the first Raeburn line accomplished: high end, performance cycling wear, manufactured in the UK and developed by one of the UK’s most renown fashion designers, Christopher Raeburn.
Check out my interview with Christopher and his brother Graeme Raeburn for Rapha below!

Yonder Journal: Ty Hathaway’s Post 2013 Tour Divide Interview
This is one of my favorite people on the planet. He’s inspired me to remember just one thing about cycling: have fun (or at least look rad). Yonder Journal has just posted an interview with Ty, right after he completed the 2013 Tour Divide.
“I was always tired to a certain degree because any day that you ride a mountain bike one hundred and forty miles you’re going to be tired. And if you wake up and do it again, and again, for twenty-three days in a row, you’re going to be tired all the time. So basically I was tired all the time. I feel great now though.”
It’s a hell of a read, so check it out at Yonder Journal!

Chas and His Cinelli Rider Collection Cap
One of the true hustlers in the urban cycling scene is Chas from TCB Courier. Also a Mash / Cinelli rider, Chas was approached by the Italian brand to design a cycling cap for their Rider Collection Cap lineup. Check out this interview as Chas talks about what got him into bikes and the stigma associated with cycling caps!
I’ve got one and it’s one of the more unique caps out these days. You can pick one up at Cinelli’s Winged Store!

Manual for Speed: Podium Girl Race Analysis from the US Pro Challenge
This is why I love Manual for Speed!
“At 10:01 a.m. inline behind us at the Snowmass Village Starbucks we met the 2013 USA Pro Cycling Challenge Podium Girls: Candice Wurster and Courtney James.1 Courtney from Los Angeles, California drank an Iced Doppio With Half-&-Half and Candice from Fort Collins, Colorado drank an Iced Venti Unsweetened Passion Tea.
“We’re having a blast! We work with an agency called Umbrella Girls USA and we were selected by Medalist. We’ve done NASCAR, Moto GP, NHRA, Motocross and a lot of cycling events. We feel like we’ve made it now because this Medalist and USA PRO CHALLENGE event is the biggest event we’ve done so far. We haven’t done any weird jobs but we’ve met some weird people. Do we know about Peter Sagan? Yes! And yes we saw that picture and we know what he did. We would not let it happen to us though, we’d be like, “No way!” [At this point MFS interjects: “But he’s really fast, and he is a sprinter!” And then we all start laughing and pretending to dodge unsolicited Ass Grabs.]”
“We don’t think he’s ever going to do it again though.”
