Jason Pawley Shows Us Some Love!
I tell ya what, it’s been a real honor to see so many of my photographs inspire artists to render those vignettes in their own hand style. Jason Pawley dropped this beautiful drawing of Bailey sending his basket bike (again) on his Instagram this morning and it was the first thing I saw when I got out of bed. It’s from our Caja Overnighter post from a few weeks ago. Follow Jason and his work on his Instagram…

Paul Component Engineering is Throwing a Fun Contest
Denis Carrier, aka L’ermitage designed this Paul Touring Canti camp stove as a fun illustration and Paul is asking the question:
If we made a camp stove out of Touring Canti Brakes like this, what would be a clever name? Hell, let’s make it interesting, whoever’s clever name gets the most likes, we’ll send ya a PAUL bottle opener.
Head on over to the Paul Instagram to leave your best comment!
Side note: Do you remember when we collaborated with Paul on limited editon purple Touring Cantis way back when?

Some Love for the 2020 Swift Campout Artwork by Skyler Elzy
It’s no secret we’re fans of the desert here at the Radavist and so we really wanted to give the 2020 Swift Campout product design a shoutout due to the spectacular illustration work of artist Skyler Elzy. This desert landscape with the Swift fox just melts our hearts.
Check out the full 2020 Swift Campout lineup at Swift Industries and we hope everyone got out on the Autumnal Solstice.

Concrete Road’s Bikepacking Fanzine Number 01
A few years ago, when I started posting my bikepacking drawings on the net, I called my Instagram “Concrete Road” in reference to my favorite Japanese Anime series. From then on, I was always unsure if this name was supposed to be an alias, a moniker, or just the name of a project. It took a while to develop my story but I’ve determined my pen name will be Tony Concrete and Concrete Road will be the name of my fanzine, all about bikepacking.

Casey Robertson’s Cool Collages of Cool People!
I fell upon a sudden dry spell in my business. Understandably, most of my commercial clients put current and future work on pause. I was kind of sitting around for a few days watching tumbleweeds roll through the house and started to worry about the future of my creativity and viability as an illustrator.

Jerry Bowles: Tour Bears Desktop Wallpaper
Words by Morgan Taylor. Illustration by Jerry Bowles.
Last year, when John linked to Jerry Bowles’ Tumblr, I was taken by the Tour Bears series and began using one of his images as my phone background. The other day, I found myself flipping back through Jerry’s work, and sent him a message letting him know how much I liked his stuff – and he offered up a high-res desktop wallpaper to pass on to our readers here.
To download the high-res JPG, right click and save link as – Jerry Bowles – Tour Bears Desktop. As with the Radavist Calendar series, this image is for personal use only!
These days, Jerry’s more active on Instagram than Tumblr. Head on over and give him a follow!

Merckx Mondays
Artist Chris McNally, like many of us have a long withstanding love for Eddy Merckx, his legacy and his bicycles. Maybe not his modern machines, but rather the years of classic racing. Specically, Faema and Molteni.
As part of a giant undertaking, Chris is working on a new watercolor painting project: a bike shop of life experiences both fiction and non-fiction. Inside this gem of a idea will be bikes he’s owned and bikes he’s yet to own. Case in point: a Molteni Merckx…
There’s more to come from this unique undertaking, but for now let’s just appreciate the detail he put into this classic race steed.
