DeFeet’s New Duraglove ET Wool Blend Adventure Series

We’ve been fans of DeFeet’s wool gloves for that window in time when it’s not cold enough to break out the thick gloves but the summer weight gloves won’t cut it anymore. DeFeet has improved upon its classic glove design with these ET Wool Blend Adventure gloves. These gloves are made from 52% Nylon, 20% Merino Wool, 20% Recycled Polyester, 7% Lycra, 1% Silver Ag, with the Silver Ag making the gloves smartphone compatible as the silver is in the finger tips, allowing you to use your smartphone. The Duraglove ET are designed to be used in temps ranging from 40º to 60º (4C to 16C) and they have an elaborate no-slip grip pattern.

Available in three colors; grey, blue, and red. In stock now for $24.99 at DeFeet.

Giro’s Sardine Collection

Giro always loves to play with various concepts each season and create capsule collections based on an artist or a theme. This summer that theme is sardines. Inspired by the laid-back vibes of Portugal’s seaside villages, the Sardine Collection taps into the rich Portuguese seafaring tradition and passion for handcrafted arts, like block printing and ceramics. Included in this collection is a jersey, socks, gloves, a bottle, and a cap. See the full spread at Giro.

100%’s New Minimal Sling Riding Gloves

Some riders prefer to ride with no gloves, especially in the summer months when it’s hot out, avoiding the extra heat added by a thick, padded glove. 100% new minimally-designed Sling gloves look to offer protection from abrasion without extra padding and velcro. At $39 a pop, the Sling comes in three colors and is in stock now at your local dealers, head to 100% for more specs.

Choke Out Winter with Brancale’s Made in the UK Cycling Gloves

There’s something very Dario Argento about this product photo for Brancale’s new winter cycling gloves and I like it. These gloves are made in England, come with a fleece liner and a cognac-colored finish. I’ve used similar gloves in cold weather and love them. Plus, they look great off the bike. They’ll set you back $200, and are in stock now. Head to Brancale‘s site for sizing information and ordering.

Cadence Collection: Establish Gloves

Cadence Collection: Establish Gloves

I’m the kind of rider that wears full finger gloves year-round. In dirt at least. So I’m always keen on seeing what companies put out in terms of a lightweight, smartphone-friendly, minimal glove. Cadence has always made solid options and the Establish gloves are the newest to their catalog. The best part is the price: $46. Head to Cadence for more information.

Kitsbow: Mens All Mountain Glove

Kitsbow: Mens All Mountain Glove

I’m sorry old gloves. You were my favorites for so long. I wore you every day on the trails and while you’re perfectly fine, there are these new gloves in town. They’re just. So. Pretty. So pretty that I want to go over my bars into limestone with them just to see how they look a bit beaten up. So pretty that they match two, no three of my bikes. So pretty that I might just have to put you back in the drawer for when I inevitably lose one of them in the near future.

See just how pretty the new Kitsbow All Mountain Gloves are for yourself.

45NRTH’s STURMFIST Gloves Use Aerogel Insulation

45NRTH’s STURMFIST Gloves Use Aerogel Insulation

One of the lightest insulators on Earth, Aerogel has made its way into one of the most practical uses for cyclists: gloves. 45NRTH’s new STURMFIST models utilize this technology that was first formed in the 1930s by Dr. Samuel Stephens Kistler, an American chemist.

It’s taken almost 50 years for companies to adopt this insulation to warm weather clothing and what better piece of clothing to insulate than gloves for cold-weather riding. The very material that was used by NASA will keep your digits warm.

New to the 45NRTH lineup are the STURMFIST 4 glove, for temperatures below 15 degrees and the STURMFIST 5, for temperatures above 15 degrees.

POC + Ritte

SoCal-based, bad boyz / bad girlz of cycling, Ritte have teamed up with POC, one of the most unique cycling helmet and apparel companies to form a whole line of collaborative products. Coming soon are POC + Ritte gloves, bibs, jersey and yes, a scarf. The whole collection looks great and I can’t wait to see photos of the team wearing this line.

See more at POC and check your local dealer for availability. This release is slated for mid-April.
