While Matt was in Chicago, Rick took a nice portrait of his SKYLMT SL1. I love the patina this frame has acquired since I shot it in SF.
I love watching Phil ride. He’s smoother than a lot of riders, half his size. Dude’s got flow.

Well, after two weeks in sunny SoCal, I’m back in even sunnier and hotter Austin. I cannot express with words how much fun I had this round in LA. We rode and rode and rode, all the while I tried to document the daily happenings going on around me. There’s much more to come but these photos didn’t really fit in with any of the future photosets, so I’m dumping them into a Randomness gallery. Enjoy!

These two have such the blossoming bromance and they’re real powerhouses. Joe McKeag and Congo are two characters in FGFS and Matt Lingo caught some of their moves over on Rec Fail.

Torey was on the road in Toronto, filming for his BB17 edit last month. This nose mannie to nollie out was caught by Rick one afternoon during the trip. Looks dialed. He’s got more coming in for Breakbrake 17, so keep an eye out.
One of the GSC shop rats, Diego just built up a new Grime G.O.A.T. 26″ fixed freestyle bike. These frames evolved from a strong bloodline of street riders in NYC and have found themselves all over the world. The G.O.A.T.s have a cult-like following and Diego says it lives up to all the hype. The chartreuse frame really pops in the Los Angeles sun, so I took it out for some lens love.

Sorry for the lack of updates today. I woke up thinking we were doing a little, 20 mile ride and ended up doing much more than that. I hope everyone’s Friday afternoon is moving fast, but if it’s not, check out some videos from the day.
