The Dynaplug® Carbon Road Racer
Optimized for tires from 700 x 23-32, Dynaplug’s new proprietary “road” length insertion tubes allow easy plugging without the need to navigate knobs or extra volume from bigger rubber. Along with Road insertion tubes, today Dynaplug also announces the launch of Road plugs – substantially shorter than standard plugs. The smaller size means the excess plug will not rub against the frame or fork on tighter clearances Road or All Road frames.
The Dynaplug® Carbon Road Racer is the lightest tire plugging tool in the world at 14 grams, making it an ideal companion for weight-conscious road cyclists. With its small form factor, it can be neatly stowed on your bike (with included mount), saddlebag, or jersey pocket. For those that salivate at the sight of compact, well-made US components, the Dynaplug® Carbon Road Racer Kit is now optimized with Road length insertion tubes scaled for Road tires and compatible with both shorter Road and standard soft tips repair plugs.
Dynaplug® Carbon Road Racer Kit Includes:
1 – Dynaplug® Carbon Racer – Road
5 – Standard Soft Nose Plugs
1 – Pipe cleaner
1 – Cage Mount Silicone Holder
$47.99 MSRP
Weight: 14 grams
In stock now at Dynaplug and your local dealer.

Dynaplug’s New Covert Bar End Tire Plugger
You’ll see lots of companies try to make tubeless tire repair kits but unfortunately, nothing comes close to the technology that Dynaplug invented. Their newest product, the Covert, is something people have asked for and is the people’s tire plugger! That’s right, customers asked for it and here it is. Each handlebar plug fits two tire plugs. That’s four total plugs, ready to plunge into your spurting abyss of sealant to keep you jammin’ down that descent with confidence. Like all Dynaplug products, these are made in the USA by people who love bikes and carry a lifetime warranty. In stock now at Dynaplug.
Kit includes:
-2 Dynaplug® Bar End Tools
-2 ODI VANS LOCK-ON GRIPS
-1 Megaplug
-3 Standard Plugs

The Radavist Authors’ Favorite Small Business Products: John Watson
John Watson picks up this series we began with Ryan Wilson during the pandemic. Consider this a shout out to our favorite small businesses in the cycling industry. Here are some of John’s personal picks.
Small businesses are the foundation of the outdoor industry and many have been seriously impacted by the pandemic over the last couple of months. While money is understandably tight for a significant portion of people, if you do have the means and are dreaming up your next bike trip or local ride, I wanted to offer up a few suggestions for gear that I believe is worthy of investing in from some of my favorite small businesses in the industry.

The new Carbon Racer tire plugger is just like their standard aluminum Racer but is now available in carbon fiber. Meerkat Hooptie: Dear Susan Collaborates with Dynaplug to Construct a Hooptie Bridge Between US and UK Builder Cultures
It’s been almost a year since NAHBS. I was pretty nervous about going to America, but just before I left I heard that the Dynaplug people; who I’d developed a vague online relationship with, were here in London so we met up for fish and chips. Long story short, they were awesome, we really hit it off, and they totally put my mind at ease about my trip. We made plans to meet again in Chico while I was there, but my whirlwind schedule around NAHBS and subsequent road trip with the legendary Anna Schwinn (which was probably one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life) didn’t allow time-wise.

In Case You Missed It: Dynaplug’s New Handlebar Mount Prototype
Dynaplug has saved my ass on more than one occasion, especially on our sharp, rocky trails here in Los Angeles and literally a half mile in on our shuttle in Downieville last weekend. Unfortunately, the Dynaplugs are only efficient when you can access them quickly and mine are usually at the bottom of my camera bag, which forces me to plug the hole with my finger while I dig through my bag with one hand. Luckily, Dynaplug has been working on a solution to that problem with a new handlebar mount clamp that will hold their tire repair capsules. The nicest part about this system is it’ll save you precious seconds when it comes to rescuing your ride.
Once they release these, I’ll post again. If you haven’t checked out Dynaplug, do so at their site, or holler at your local shop to get them signed up as a dealer! Dynaplug is made in Chico by a group of rad people!
