With some of the best coffee and best climbs in the world, Colombia is a gem, hidden in plain sight.

Flat Track Coffee Kickstarter!
Yes, you should support your local bike, record and coffee shop forever and forever but that doesn’t mean you can’t help other small, independent shops grow at the same time. My (old) local coffee shop and friends at Flat Track Coffee have just launched a Kickstarter to help expand their Austin, Texas facilities into a complete roaster and expand their digs.
Backers get to choose between a bag of coffee, shirts or their new camp mugs… depending on how much you want to fork over. Personally, I’m digging the Scoundrels designs and classic camp coffee mugs…
Head over to the Flat Track Coffee Kickstarter to see more!

Stumptown’s Aeropress Day Dreams
Stumptown has just launched their new site and it features all kinds of informative stuff. Like this video of Austin’s newest citizen Bo Thunell (@bojordan) breaking down the 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, and et ceteras of Aero Press coffee. Now you would think that drinking coffee day in and day out would give Bo lazer beam focus? Well…. it doesn’t, and just like the rest of us, he day dreams from time to time. And in his case when he spaces out, he spaces out to an emerald green forest filled with loam and peppered with jumps. Not a bad way to space travel. When he is back on earth he makes a great cup of joe and in this video he can teach you to do the same.

#LARiverCampCoffee with the Los Angeles County Coffee Connoisseurs
Every Wednesday, a group of coffee enthusiasts wake up with the sun, pack their camping coffee setups on their bikes and meet in a small park on the LA river. There’s no requisite, just make coffee, chat and partake in the occasional donut.
Errin Vasquez organizes this gathering, which I first found out about on Instagram and this week, I got to hang out with this growing meeting at the Sunnynook River Park. Along with capturing the general vibes, I followed Jesse Carmody‘s brewing technique and shot photos of Errin’s Box Dog Bikes Pelican randonneur bike.

The 2014 Interbike Super Duper Ginormous Gallery Day 01
Interbike. The necessary evil of the industry and the culmination of the year’s energy for me. 48 hours ago and we were in the Sequoias, now, we’re in the towering landscapes of Las Vegas, navigating the halls of the convention, seeing new and interesting products and longtime friends.
In an attempt to make my Interbike coverage as easy to digest as possible, I’ll be doing things a little different. Each day, I’ll upload around 80 photos, with the company’s name in the captions. If you have any questions, ask below and I’ll answer.
Keep in mind, these are products I like and do not necessarily represent everything to see at the show. If you’ve seen something elsewhere that’s worth sharing, holler at me on Twitter, Instagram (@JohnProlly) or in the comments!

The Quick and Easy Tanner Goods Porter Handlebar Bag
When it comes to a touring bike, the randonneur bag or Wald basket will reign supreme for front-end portage, but not every bike has rack mounts. In the case of a classic road bike, or MTB, strap on handlebar bags are the simplest solution to carrying extra cargo around town.
There are countless options, ranging from cordura, to cotton, but for those looking for something a little classier, check out the Tanner Goods Porter Handlebar Bag. I’ve been keen on trying one out since the line was first launched and since using mine for around a month, I’m loving it…

Kinoko and Daily Goods Caps
These look good!
“Daily Goods is our rather excellent in store coffee shop, the brain child of Carter Donnell. We finally made a limited edition collaboration cap, so you can share the love and show your allegiances when it comes to your favourite spot to sup the finest coffee based beverages in all of London town and where to purchase superior cycling goods and apparel. You may also find that this fine piece of Italian made head wear will keep the sun out of your eyes and the rain from disturbing your finely coiffed locks.”
