Freight Baggage has been working on a new website since I can remember. The brand itself needs no introduction but some of their products might, like the Bike Bag, which has been around for a while, but never officially available online for purchase. I’ve seen this bag in person and it’s insane. A very clean, modern version of the military MOLLE system, done the Mission Workshop way. In this case, black waxed canvas:

While I’m usually not the biggest fan of saddle bags, these HMPL No. 15 bags look pretty nice:

Columbus’ Seagull Bags have grown to be one of the most popular bag makers over the years and while I was in Columbus a few weeks back, I randomly hopped in to check out their facilities. Unfortunately, all I had was my Hasselblad with 6 exposures left on the roll so it’s not what I would consider a full Shop Visit gallery, but it does capture some of the space and faces of Seagull Bags.

It’s been about a month since Eric from ILE sent me one of his new Photo Bag Mini models to test out. Usually, when I’m shooting photos on the go while riding, I’ll just throw the camera around my shoulder and pedal around with it fully exposed. There are plenty of occasions where that might not be a great idea, or maybe you want to carry a flash, some CF cards and other small accessories with you. In those cases, the Photo Bag Mini is perfect.

“For an afternoon, the San Francisco Bay Railroad opened it’s doors to Oakland based photographer Alex Ramos and Mission Workshop to capture the day to day operations of this local industrial railroad on film and video.

Just about every day now, a saddle bag pops into my inbox. Usually I skip over them, since I’m more of a fan of rolls (you’ve got a jersey pocket for on-the-go-access IMO), and rolls are more of a emergency flat kit but some people like to be light on their pockets, so saddle bags it is.
