The best musette I’ve ever used is back, in new webbing colors. These waxed canvas musettes are durable, will fit sandwiches, booze, books, (you name it) and feature a sternum strap that keeps them from swaying on a ride. I’ve done numerous 80+ mile rides with mine and loved it.

Tokyo’s Fairweather can do no wrong in my book. Their new Handlebar bags look super clean and with a large front pouch, they’ll hold what appears to be a decent-sized camera like a rangefinder or mirrorless system, which piqued my interest.
They’re $128 and in stock (mostly) at Fairweather.
Cadence brought back their popular Trekker sling bag this year, with a much-needed improvement. An ambidextrous sternum strap keeps the Trekker in place while you ride. See more at Cadence.
Somehow I missed this video from Inside Line Equipment, showcasing their Prime photo bag. Everything this company makes is A+. I’ve had their Photo Mini bag for well over two years and it’s one of my favorite photo bags.
Two of my favorite companies came together and designed a new bag for the House Industries Velo collection. These made in Portland leather saddle bags thread through your saddle loops and come with the House insignia embossed into the soft, horween leather.

I really love what Swift has been producing, especially these small run projects like the Bandito saddle / handlebar bag. It’s a simple solution to tote around random goodies like cameras, food, tubes, clothing, tools and apparently, burritos. Head on over to Swift to see more!
I’ve been using the normal SSCY Tack bag for a day pack during cross races and MTB rides where I have to drive to the trail. Its large size makes it easy to drop helmets, shoes and kits into the main compartment and the smaller pockets hold tools, snacks and other misc items.
What’s best about the Tack is it transforms from a tote to a backpack with just two clamps… I’ll elaborate more when I actually review mine. For now, let’s check out the new Tack Sling Bag.

““Nightfall” is a speculative commercial that tells the story of a hardworking messenger who depends on his Chrome gear to keep him going. I made this commercial as my senior thesis at Drexel University, to conclude my studies of TV Production. I set out to create a commercial that portrays a brand I love, rely on, and wear every day.
This couldn’t have been possible without the amazing amount of support from my production & post production crew. You guys seriously rule.”
