Canadian artist Kate Zessel spends a lot of time in the mountains. When she’s not skiing or hiking with her dogs, you can find her riding her bike throughout British Columbia, seeking inspiration for the bold and intricate artwork she creates at her home studio in Pemberton.

This season 7Mesh has teamed up with Kate to create a capsule collection interwoven with her graphical impressions of the trails, peaks, and valleys surrounding Squamish along the Sea to Sky Corridor.

NY-based artist Futura has teamed up with Cinelli and the Bicycle Film Festival on two key pieces of riding kit for the summer months. Futura’s “Spiral” design has been added to Cinelli’s cycling caps and tech tees and are in stock now at the Bicycle Film Festival’s web shop.

Today marks the launch of Rapha’s new Performance Trailwear for MTB riding and included in the launch today is this video that caught our eyes with its lo-fi appeal. Albion Cycling has a cult-like following thanks to their super minimally-branded cycling apparel and strong colors. This spring’s release from the brand includes a full women’s lineup including jerseys, bibs, vests, and more. We’ve known about this for some time and over the past few weeks, there have been various hints on social media, all pointing to the newly-formed Rapha MTB Instagram page. This short video teases out the MTB line. What do y’all think of this?

Small businesses are the foundation of the outdoor industry and many have been seriously impacted by the pandemic over the last couple of months. While money is understandably tight for a significant portion of people, if you do have the means and are dreaming up your next bike trip or local ride, I wanted to offer up a few suggestions for gear that I believe is worthy of investing in from some of my favorite small businesses in the industry.

I’ve been wearing the short sleeve version of this shirt for a few weeks now and my only complaint is it wasn’t a long sleeve! I love long sleeve shirts for summer riding since the material wicks sweat and keeps the sun off my arms.
