The name of the game is collabro. During the 2011 NAHBS, Kyle went around placing his sticker everywhere he saw a Viking. When I say everywhere, I mean everywhere. After posting this photo on Flickr, I was hoping Tracko would notice and post it but Victor at Archive Bags beat him to it.

Fast Folks: Fire Photos by Chelsea Peacock
As you may have caught, Fast Folks had a fire a few nights ago. With the shop just moving to a new location and hordes of cyclists coming into town for SxSW, this was probably the worst time possible for a fire to break out next door to the shop. While there wasn’t any fire damage or extreme amounts of property loss, the crew had to shut their doors yesterday.
Natalie sent me these photos, shot by Chelsea Peacock and I gotta say, they’re pretty rough to look at. Don’t worry too much because the shop is open today! Swing through and bring them some incense.

2011 SxSW Recon: Thrasher Magazine Death Match Half-Pipe Photos
Today in-between people watching and riding around, I swung by the Scoot Inn to check out Thrasher Magazine‘s Death Match party. It’s SxSW and I was expecting a mob-scene but it was really chill. A bunch of dudes were thrashing the half-pipe was bands played (more on that later). It’s not often that I get to shoot skateboarders so I had fun hanging out for an hour or so.
Check out more photos from the Thrasher Magazine Death Match half-pipe below.

Harry is a cultivator of cycling history over on the NYC Fixed boards. Recently he posted photos from these Flickr sets that are absolutely bad-ass! Also included in his post was this throwback jam of Lance before the SI article and other randomness like this photo. Flickr is such a gold-mine!

Merckx Mondays
Photo by Le Mond on Flickr
Each week, I scour the ‘net using all of my known resources for Eddy Merckx material. Sometimes, I come across older Flickr pages that I’ve previously overlooked and more often than not, eBay offers some tasty finds.
It’s Merckx Mondays, after a holiday weekend. Check out some randomness below.

A Letter from Al Cisneros
How’s this for a bit of randomness injected into your Thursday afternoon? Luke forwarded me this post on Bastard Squad that includes a hand-written note from Al Cisneros of Sleep. How rad is that? I’ve got my Sleep all “packed” up for the ride to Philly tomorrow.

Tuesday Teardown: Electric Wizard – “Return Trip”
Sorry for the bit of randomness this morning. This song has been in my head for days now. If you don’t know Electric Wizard, get familiar.
The sun burns in the stranger’s eyes
Just one more tear before he dies
Black mass can’t ease the pain
There’s nothing here, there’s nothing sane
I hope your fuckin’ world, fucking burns away
I’d kill you all if I had my way
But I’ll live forever, questions curse me why
Oh lord above, why won’t you let me die
Every Tuesday, to help you get through the week, I’ll be dropping some Tuesday Teardowns in the morning!
As you were. Enjoy your Tuesday!

BFF09 Edit pt. 2
BFF09 Edit pt. 2 from John Prolly on Vimeo.
Finally, I think that’s the longest I’ve spent on a web edit before. So many clips to sift through and edit. But it covers a good amount of randomness. All the events went on during the BFF09 NYC. I wish I had clips of the Seattle, Hawaii crews, Puckett drunk and Elliot being Elliot. Overall it was a great weekend and thanks to everyone who came out! Next year maybe it won’t rain!
Make sure to watch to the end for the BMX long-jump and Anson’s nasty spill.

Falcon Again
Having photographer’s blogs and Flickr feeds on my RSS reader is always a good way to brighten up the day. As of now I have SexySushi‘s, Kyoichi’s, Falcon Duran‘s and Ed Glazar‘s on my Google Reader.
Once and a while a pic of myself pops up in the mix. Love the NYC randomness on Falcon’s pics, the environment and composition of Ed’s, the new bike gear and even food on Kyoichi’s and the new tricksters in Japan on Sexy Sushi’s.
Keep it up guys!
