Bikes change from when you first receive them. This is especially the case with custom bikes. John submitted this Northern Frameworks flat bar gravel bike when he first collected it from Angry Catfish and then sent a follow-up after he put some miles on it. Check out this unique custom rig below for this week’s Readers’ Rides…
Forthwith, my humble submission: Northern Frameworks ti gravel/adventure with MTB-ish geometry. Designed to be pretty bombproof and comfortable. Sort of an exercise in creating the last quasi-road bike I’ll ever need. Capable of pavement, dirt roads, and singletrack.
Component highlights include King bearings all around, 800mm Race Face flat bar, Bike Yoke dropper, SRAM 1×11 MTB drivetrain and XT levers with flat mount calipers.
Built by the friendly crew at Angry Catfish!
