Rivendell SILVER Cranks Return in Several Configurations $280

Whether you want a set for your new Roadini or your old beausaged Bombadil, Rivendell has a set of SILVER cranks for you. These square taper cranks look like the offerings from yesteryear while offering a variety of gear assemblages for any bike.

The SILVER crank is cold-forged from 7075 T6 aluminum; the best grade for crankarms. It’s more expensive, but imparts a grain to the metal in a way that casting and machining doesn’t. It’s compatible with JIS taper bottom brackets, which are most of them, and the chainline is about 47 with a 110mm Shimano BB, and 50mm with a 113. The Q-Factor with a 107mm BB is 154mm.

Bike Friday Haul-a-Day Cargo Bike $1,995
