Ibis Revamps the DV9 Hardtail 29er
The DV9 is back! A do-it-all carbon fiber hardtail designed to take you from the trailhead to the starting line, with a session at the pump track in between. Lighter weight, with up-to-date geometry, and engineered to the same exacting standards as the rest of our line, it packs a ton of performance at a more accessible price. The geometry of the redesigned DV9 is similar to the World Cup winning bis Exie USA. The DV9 comes with a 120 mm fork and is compatible with forks from 100 to 140mm travel. The head angle is now one-degree slacker at 66.5°.
Ibis also made notable changes to the new DV9: they steepened the seat tube angle by 2-4 degrees, depending on size; size-specific seat tube angles improve your fore-aft balance on the bike while reducing knee and wrist strain. The reach grew by 30mm on the medium and 48mm on the large, bringing them to 435mm and 470mm, respectively. The downtube is sloped to lower the standover by 53mm, dramatically improving the fit for smaller riders. Despite how compact the frame is, every size can run a long dropper and two water bottles, including the size small. Ibis also shortened the chainstays by 14mm, bringing them to an ultra-playful 425mm.

Cedaero Switchback Saddle Bag $79.95/$89.95
When you only need the essentials, the Switchback will stay with you through every line. Load it up with a tube and repair kit—and forget it until you need it. No matter how loose the corner or chunky the descent, the Switchback remains locked to your saddle. The not-so-secret sauce is the inverted catenary arch pre-tensioned batten, which allows the pack to be snugged tight to the saddle without being crushed. It comes with a 6” Voile Nano strap for a solid seat post connection and works seamlessly with dropper posts (when paired with the Wolf Tooth Valais). Side-release buckles allow for speedy installation and removal if you need to switch back and forth between bikes in your stable. This pack features light rigid foam padding to minimize rattles, and the same bomb-proof #9 Ideal zipper as other Cedaero packs, which runs smoothly even in nasty conditions. The Switchback is equally at home on most bikes, whether you shred, fred, grind, commute, tour, or pack. Pace-line or party-pace in total aero style. $79.95 in Cordura or $89.95 in Waxed Canvas. Brain Dead x Rapha MTB
Rapha today announces an all-new collaboration with Brain Dead, the LA-based international brand, creating a limited edition MTB collection of on and off-bike apparel inspired by nature.
With its disruptive, graphic-led approach, Brain Dead takes its cues from post-punk, underground comics, and the spirit of subculture. Not defined by a singular style or person and combined with Rapha’s mission to inspire the world to live life by bike, the all-new range is designed to push the boundaries and disrupt.
Inspired by the environments we ride and Rapha + Brain Dead’s mutual love of being active, the partnership celebrates the influence of nature on mountain biking and the trails it lets us build in pursuit of the perfect flow.

Stuff we see on the ‘net that causes pause…
Jake has been spending the past few years on a Golden Gate Bridge project, documenting the bridge’s many characters, weather shifts, and vistas in a project that will make you look at public infrastructure in a different light. For the first time in this 5-year project he’s offering a print from his documentation:
“The first ever print I’m offering from my 5 year project on the Golden Gate Bridge. I am terrible at asking for help, but I have almost 1,000 rolls of film I need to process and some credit card debt from the project I need to pay off. As most of you know I’m barely able to make this project work and pay rent. I’ve really tried to sacrifice everything to be on the bridge everyday believing I’d eventually get a grant or something. So far I’ve had no luck. Everyone has been so supportive for so long and I want to have this print sale to raise some much needed funds and finally have something from the bridge for sale.”
Help Jake out and scoop a print at his BigCartel.
