Advocate Cycles Hayduke 27.5″ CPO at The Pro’s Closet
TPC gets a lot of bikes in their used, Certified Pre-Owned queue, and when one pops up that is relevant to the readership, we just gotta share it. Take this Advocate Cycles Hayduke build, which is the predecessor to the Esker Cycles Hayduke, before Esker Cycles was a thing. This 130mm travel hardtail is built with bikepacking in mind and is pretty close to the current Hayduke model in terms of functionality and geometry. Even the build kit is solid for its $3,349.99 price point. Plus, it’s in stock now…

Chirp Chirp Cycles Lark Adventure Bike
This checks a lot of boxes for us! Chirp Chirp Cycles is a framebuilder operation out of Germany and its flagship adventure bike, the Lark, is built upon a Gr 9 (3AL/2.5V) and Gr 5 (6AI/4V) titanium chassis, with lots of touring accouterment, ample tire clearance (700x55mm), and some nifty in-house frame parts (check out that yoke!). We dig what they’re doing and you probably will too. Roll on over to Chirp Chirp to see more.
Winter Bikepacking to a Mountain Peak
Backwoods Bikepacking takes us on another one of their winter time camping trips…
When a few friends came up with a wild idea of riding from Ottawa to Timmins to help show what’s possible on two wheels, nobody thought they would confront so many challenges on the adventure. Why would one take on a ride of such nature? The future of participation in cycling sits at the core of the individuals involved and a partnership with Cycling Canada to help raise funds for their HopOn program motivated them for the wild journey they would embark on. Their mission: getting more kids on bikes!
