Remember that sweet commuter helmet Giro teased at Eurobike last year? Well, it’s available now. The Ethos MIPS Shield featured integrated LED lights and an integrated eye shield to protect your eyes during crisp morning commutes. The entire system is USB-C rechargeable with an estimated run time of 10 hours in low-blink mode and 5 hours in the high-blink mode, which delivers 45 lumens front and 30 lumens rear. Helmet and remote can be fully charged in just 2 hours and 1 hour, respectively.

Albion Fall/Winter Zoa Collection

At this year’s Bespoked, we saw the new collections from British clothing brand Albion up close and can attest that they all look great. Today Albion are releasing the Zoa collection that includes: waterproof trousers, Burner musette, Insulated Jacket, Zoa Rain Shell, which are all designed to work together as a system or on their own. Read on for more from Albion and check out their full clothing line here.

The Albion Zoa range aims to set a new standard in outdoor clothing for cyclists, utilising the world’s best performance fabrics by Pertex® in a range of premium products suitable for multiple riding disciplines and for both on and off-bike use.

New for A/W22 are the Zoa waterproof trousers, a high-performance, versatile waterproof shell pant to work alongside the rest of the Zoa system. The Zoa waterproof trousers have been wear tested in some of the toughest ultra races in the world and are stacked with features to make riding in bad weather something to relish.

Also new this season is the Zoa Burner Musette, which is an insulated musette that can also be worn as a Burner, our highly packable insulated layer concept. Featuring an innovative but simple strap system, the Zoa Burner Musette can be used for load carrying or to give the rider additional warmth – or both, and embodies the ambition of the Zoa range to give the most demanding cyclists the most functional gear to help them stay outside for longer.

Industry Nine None More Black Enduro 305 Wheels $1455

“How much more black could it be? The answer is none. None more black.”

All-black. Simple. Beautiful. Classic. This Halloween, I9’s Enduro 305 wheelset pays homage to one of England’s loudest (and most punctual) bands.

To create “None More Black” limited edition wheelsets, I9 processes the hubs and spokes slightly differently during anodization to create a two-tone effect that renders the laser etching to a shadow. Not dismal, depressing or mournful, but powerful like a black mirror – wheels you can see yourself on.

To amp it up even more, I9 included its rider-favorite non-driveside endcap that “goes to 11.”

Check out all the specs and availability at Industry Nine.

Salsa Cycles Presents: Because Adventure

In April 2021, Leonardo Brasil, Brendan Heineg, David Sedelnick, and TJ Windsor lined up at the start of the 340-mile Iowa Wind and Rock gravel race.

None of them crossed the finish line.

Faced with a sense of defeat, they wanted a way to redeem themselves. Leonardo created a self-supported route in Colorado that would do just that: 345 miles and 25,000 feet of climbing.

Because Adventure, follows the crew from their pre-dawn start all the way to…well, you’ll just have to watch.
