Cassette Club Opens in Seattle

RailSpur’s new cycling hub, Cassette Club, located in Pioneer Square, recently opened its doors with a mission to serve all members of the Seattle cycling community from commuters to gravel riders with endless benefits and perks. Cassette Club’s monthly memberships – which offer bike storage, showers, lockers, free coffee, and more – are designed to enhance the bike commuting experience and are never more appreciated than during these winter months!

Open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Cassette Club offers members a safe place to store their bikes indoors protected from the harsh winter weather, private showers to freshen up after a cold or rainy commute, and free coffee and tea to warm up at Heard Coffee adjacent to the shop. Also included in the membership is as free tuning every month, community rides, discounted demo bikes, services, and soft goods at the retail shop, and more. The Cassette Club membership is offered at $100/month.

RailSpur is a newly renovated micro-district in Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square. Its other retail concepts include Heard Coffee and Beerdega (serving craft beer and wine and artisan goods), which makes for a one stop shop to commuters starting off or ending their work day.

Homebrew pre-orders are open again at Sour Bicycles in Germany.

Although Sour has been making frames in Germany for a short while now, the popular sizes of the most popular frames sold out right quickly! Sour has ramped its production enough to again take orders for these previously sold-out frames. Wolf Tooth Echo Grips in Colors $29.95

Wolf Tooth Echo Lock-On Grips are made for all-mountain riding, from XC to downhill. A soft, tacky rubber grip is secured to the handlebar with an anodized aluminum collar. The alternating diagonal pattern of the grip is designed to keep the rider’s hand in place and provide grip with or without gloves in all conditions. Road to Trieste

To celebrate the last beautiful days of the season, Specialized Ambassadors Sara Bassano and Paula Zibasa and photographer Moritz Ablinger get together and set off on a mountain bike road trip through stunning Slovenia.

1.2 Project: A Year on Film

The 1.2 Project represents a year-long challenge that filmer Satchel Cronk and rider Leah Lind-White set out to achieve in 2022. Each month they’d create a unique perspective on mountain biking. Whether it was night riding, the joy of bike maintenance, riding through reforestation, or a great ride turned into a crash, each month brought a new topic. Leah’s effortless style on her bike and Satchel’s unique filming and editing style made this project one of the most unique we’ve come across in a long time. 12 months. 12 perspectives. This is 1.2.

“Undertaking” – Italy Divide 2022

Last year, Fara Cycling CEO and ex-professional cyclist Jeff Webb and his F/Gravel took on the infamous Italy Divide – a 1250km, unsupported pilgrimage from Pompeii in the South to Lake Garda in the North. A brutal test of both man and machine followed, across all terrains, and in all conditions. This is that journey.
