Small Monsters Raffle – Win a Ritchey Swiss Cross Frame.. and More!
Ritchey is proud to continue its support of factory rider Ben Frederick and his campaign for traumatic brain injury relief and mental health awareness.
What started as a washout on a simple training ride quickly developed into a life-changing brain injury that changed Ben’s trajectory in his professional cyclocross circuit. In the aftermath of his recovery, Ben knew his athletic endeavors had to be about more than placings and standings. From that, The Small Monsters Project was born.
Now in its second year, The Small Monsters project is not only a megaphone for TBI and mental health awareness but a fundraising apparatus with all proceeds going to LoveYourBrian, a foundation dedicated to helping those suffering from TBI on their road to recovery.
As with last year, The Small Monsters Project is selling raffle entries offering prizes from Ben’s sponsors, including a 50th Anniversary Swiss Cross frameset from Ritchey, a cycling kit from Ornot, a wheelset of choice from Zipp, an original painting from Chris McNally and more.
Entries are $25 each and are unlimited to the number of entries per individual. 100% of funds earned will go to LoveYourBrain. Each entry will receive a thank you stick card from Ben to commemorate their donation.
The raffle closes January 10th, with winners picked then.

The Eden Ridge Roundabout – Bikepacking Route
The Eden Ridge Roundabout is an overnight bikecamping route that starts and ends in Powers—a small, rural town nestled in the Southern Oregon Coast Range. This “gateway to the Siskiyous” provides a half-paved, half-gravel route with 68 miles and 6400 feet of elevation gain. Powers brings riders into a beautiful, isolated valley surrounded by lush green hills on the South Fork of the Coquille River.
Dallas Mignano joined Michael Roderick, Al House, and Gary Rayor on the first official group ride for this newly developed route in late November of 2022. There was frost in the valleys as we crossed over creeks, so we chilled in more ways than one. Over time, we’re hoping to further develop and share even more bikepacking routes in the Oregon Coast Range. Subscribe and stay tuned!
