Stridsland Barnacle Fork 1.560,00 DKK – 1.840,00 DKK
Available in boost or non boost, thru-axle or quick-release, the Stridsland Barnacle fork is a dream retro MTB conversion fork Stridsland has been developing for way too long. Designed for 80’s and 90’s 26″ mountain bikes, ideally replacing the original rigid fork or a short travel (max 80mm) suspension fork. Will make most / cross / hybrid / gravel / ATB bikes pretty siiick too.
The axle to crown measurement is 400mm. This is a critical element of its design, as running a fork that’s even just 20mm too long will do all kinds of terrible things to a bike’s handling and self-esteem.
It has 43mm offset which is similar to what most retro mtb forks had. Results in a mid to high trail number on frames with a 70-73 degree head angle. Loaded or not, fast or slow, it just friggin works.
The steerer is 300mm long which should be plenty for most folks out there, even if your headtube is over the 200mm mark.
It’s got all the mounts so you can make any old bike a bike camping bike. After countless hours of R and D, Stridsland can pretty much guarantee any rack out there will fit :)
Clearance for maximum 26×3″, 27.5×2.6″ or 700x48mm!
The first batch sold out but there are more on the way at Stridsland.
Cafe du Cycliste Atelier Collection is Inspired by Geology
Atelier is where imagination meets technology, a place for Café du Cycliste to dial up expression and push the limits of product creation. Fewer rules, less restriction, more freedom. A collection of audacious garments and accessories produced in limited numbers to the highest standards for Forever Outsiders.
The collection mirrors the freedom of the road within the design and development process itself. By limiting the constraints which are inherent in standard production, the creative possibilities increase exponentially, producing a richer landscape upon which to work. And this season, the landscape, the earth and geological forms have been dug out for aesthetic inspiration to decorate a batch of special edition performance pieces.
Available are INES – The Thermal Gilet (205 €), GAELLA – The Windbreaker Jacket – 160€, and ALEXINE – The Long Sleeve Jersey – 190€, for men and women at Cafe du Cycliste.
Extract Cycling Bottle Water Filter
We’ve been saying this for years: why hasn’t a company made a water filter cap for cycling bottles? Well, Extract did just that! These water bottle cycling caps thread onto the most common-sized bottles and filter 99.9999% of the bad stuff in the water you filter. There’s a Kickstarter draft live for you to check out. We’ll be backing and testing this out and will report back as soon as we get some experience with this innovative design!

Fairlight Strael 3.0 56R Steel All-Road Bike $2500
UPDATE: Price Drop for Realistic Winter Bike Sale Pricing
If you’re on this site, you already know about this frame. Mine is built up with GRX800/R8000/FSA SLK, carbon Good Weather bike shop branded carbon wheels. 48/32×11-32.
Moderate mileage on the drivetrain, but freshly bike-shop tuned, with brand new BB and front chainring.
Carbon cockpit, 36mm challenge Strada handmades under PDW Full Metal 45 fenders. Yes, you can truly have it all.
Selling because I ride my flat bar bikes more, and this is too nice of a bike to hang on the wall! The frame is in excellent condition, with very minor cable rub, and a scuff on the rear thru axle.
Would prefer to keep sale local/regional. I’ll consider meeting committed buyers within 3 hours of Seattle.
