Archibald Cycles AC1 Stainless Steel High Pivot Pinion Gearbox Full Suspension

Archibald Cycles first production bike the AC1 is now available for pre-order! Each AC1 is custom-built to suit each rider’s sizing needs and ride preferences. Bikes are hand built in Archibald’s Vancouver shop from MS3 Stainless steel, with frames weighing as little as 8lbs for a 475mm reach version. Our first batch will be delivered starting in mid-January 2024. Later batches will be announced in January with lead times shortening as we move into larger batch sizes.

Outer Shell DHB UL Rando Pre-Order $145

The Rando UL Series is built for those who want the best. It was designed for Paris Brest Paris, the Olympics of randonneuring. It’s made from ULTRA 400X fabric – a super strong, ultralight fabric that’s similar to Dyneema. We picked the slightly reflective white color for those extended periods of night riding. The DHB is adorned with high vis orange cord as well. The line has been tested and refined through the qualifiers this year, and Outer Shell is super stoked on the final versions.

Dynaplug Air Gets an Update: New Valve Core Removing Cap $74.99

Velo Orange Removable Faceplate Quill Stem $90

Got a 1″ cruiser or vintage MTB conversion you’re working on and are swapping out the bars to find the right fit? Don’t struggle with a quill stem, get one of these removable faceplate quill stems from Velo Orange. It makes finding the right stack height easy and swapping out bars even easier! Now, there is no limit to the cockpit setup for your classic roadie, tourer, mtb, or any other bike with a 1″ threaded steerer.

These stems feature a simple 2-bolt removable faceplate for use with any and all handlebars, including modern bars with 31.8mm clamp diameters and “alt-bars” such as our Crazy Bar. The 90-degree extension makes for a bit of rise without looking out of place on a custom build. Available in Black and Chrome. A simple VO shield logo adorns the top of the stem’s extension.

PARAÍSO

Club de Exploradores, by FIND Outdoors, is a free, bilingual outreach program that invites middle school-aged students from the Latinx/Hispanic community of Transylvania County and surrounding areas to join Latin American outdoor leaders on monthly, all-day adventures in Pisgah National Forest.

This program was born out of the need to address the imbalance of who is enjoying and benefiting from living next to public lands like the Pisgah National Forest. The program grew from 12 participants in their 2022 pilot year to 21 in its second year by highlighting the power of representation and belonging in the outdoors.

North Carolina’s Year of the Trail movement for 2023 is led by the Great Trails State Coalition, a group of over 80 organizations working to build more opportunities for hiking, biking, walking, running, paddling, and horseback riding across the state through increased awareness, legislative action, education, and engagement.
