7Mesh Chilco Anorak $200

Canadian outerwear company 7Mesh just announced a new lineup of apparel using what they call “WTV.” Wind, Thermal, Ventilation. A fabric designed to be your go-to single layer for cooler weather. The stretch woven exterior keeps the elements at bay, while a brushed loft interior traps warmth, and its air permeable construction balances moisture and temperature. One of the pieces utilizing this tech fabric is the Chilco Anorak.

This pullover with a 1/4 zip features a big hood to fit your helmet and an easy-to-access chest pocket.

If you’re worried about dropping $200 on a riding jacket that could get shredded in a crash, fear not, 7Mesh offer a Crash Replacement Policy.

Remote 130 – Dig For Today

Shae James is a seasoned digger. When it comes to no dig, no ride, she has an elusive ratio of 1:1 days on the hill. With proper trail building, comes restrictions to maintain sustainability, rideability, liability, and routing. It costs blood, sweat, and lots and lots of time. Thanks to her Remote 130 and some spring conditions, she discovered a magical, mossy playground where she could build whatever beautiful and playful feature she wanted and ride it over and over again.

Recovery – Using trail therapy to accelerate and sustain recovery from mental ill-health

The Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland (DMBinS), are breaking new ground by delivering a holistic approach to positive health outcomes through an innovative Mountain Bike Trail Therapy programme.

The DMBinS wanted Scotland to be a place where everybody thrives. They want to reset how Scotland thinks about wellbeing and health. Its Trail Therapy programme is something we are exceptionally proud of and have worked hard to secure funding to be able to pilot, then roll out in South Lanarkshire and Tayside. Recovery is our film about the programme.

The film focuses on the journey of James, a participant on the DMBinS Trail Therapy programme, who has used mountain biking to accelerate and sustain his recovery from mental ill-health.

Learn more, and if you can, please consider donating to this programme so it can be rolled out across Scotland. See more at DMBinS.
