A Look Inside Endurance PDX’s Mobile Fit Studio

Before you go out and buy a new bike due to discomfort, have you considered a proper bike fit? Portland’s Endurance Bike Fit Studio has taken its operations on the road thanks to Wahoo Fitness and VANDOIT. During Analisa’s pop up at Golden Saddle Cyclery last Sunday, I hopped on board to check it out. Read on below!

“The mobile fit studio is a way for us to expand and offer our services beyond the Portland area. We believe every rider deserves a bike fit! We will go to bike shops that don’t have fitters, businesses that want to encourage employees to commute and ride and other cycling events that could use our services. Email info@endurancepdx.com if interested.”Annalisa Fish, Endurance PDX.

By using 80/20, which is kind of like a big kid’s Erector Set, VANDOIT was able to build out this Ford Transit 2WD van with an entire fit studio, down to lasers, cameras, tables, and even an integrated Wahoo trainer used to evaluate a rider’s fit.

While the quarters are a bit tighter when compared to Endurance’s home offices in Portland, the space is efficiently designed, resulting in an intimate environment for clients to feel a true one-on-one experience.

After the fit consultation is finished, clients can see the before and after video comparison, which as you can see the fit session made quite the difference. Annalisa can help with saddle selection, cleat position, and help evaluate and solve the various causes of discomfort riders can experience.

Endurance’s next fit trip is up to Bainbridge Island to Kiel Reijnen’s new training studio, Island Velo this weekend. If you’re in the neighborhood, be sure to swing through.
